Bynx Europe Limited takes the healthy option.
Lifestyle Assessment Ltd (LAL) has recently conducted health assessments
for the employees and management of Bynx Europe Ltd, a leading specialist
software supplier based in Stratford upon Avon.
Bynx chose a slightly modified version of the Bronze service, reflecting
the flexibility of the services offered by LAL. The service was
offered as an option for its staff and Bynx was delighted that 74%
of its staff took up the offer.
The assessments were carried out in two phases, both of them at
Bynx's head office. The first phase was a blood test and the results
were then presented in a second phase interview.
Kerina Turner, HR Manager at Bynx said, "We were delighted
with the whole experience with Lifestyle Assessment Ltd. The operation
was extremely professional and was carried out in such a way as
to effectively minimise the disruption. The first phase took no
more than 5 minutes per employee. The second, a detailed analysis
and discussion with a nurse lasted about 20 minutes and took place
in a mobile assessment unit on our car park."
"We were able to tailor the assessment to our particular needs
and budget and the feedback we have had from our employees has been
extremely positive. We see this as a very cost effective way of
providing employee incentives and at the same time help our workforce
be fitter and healthier, leading to high long term productivity
levels

Lifestyle Assessment Limited to partner Coventry Irish Society with
health assessment program.
Lifestyle Assessment Limited (LAL) has entered into a partnership
with Coventry Irish Society and Coventry Area Health Authority to
provide free health checks and advice for the older Irish community
in Coventry.
Funding has been provided by the Primary Health Care Trust and Dion*
enabling Coventry Irish Society to run a pilot scheme over a three-month
period (beginning in August 03) promoting healthcare and advice
to members of the Irish community who would not necessarily have
access to a doctor or other healthcare/advisory services.
Simon McCarthy, Irish healthcare worker said We are delighted
with the service being offered by Lifestyle Assessment Limited over
the first 6 weeks of the pilot scheme. The additional utilization
of LALs Mobile Assessment Unit has enabled us to get out and
serve the Irish community. We see this as a very good way of providing
healthcare and advice to people who may otherwise not receive necessary
healthcare services.
Since the project began we have contacted over 70 older Irish people
including some of the most vulnerable members of the Irish community
in Coventry. The health checks have highlighted some serious health
concerns such as high blood pressure and enabled us to secure important
healthcare interventions for a significant number of older Irish
people. I think the service that LAL offers can have a major influence
in a preventative capacity by highlighting healthcare issues that
otherwise would remain untreated and that could have more serious
long term healthcare implications

Community in Britain.
